Group Training Techniques Program

On 10 – 12 May, we conducted the first Group Training Techniques (GTT) Program.

The Program was aimed at developing colleagues’ skills in preparing and conducting group training sessions. By the end of the program, participants will be able to design and structure a group training session, complete the required preparation and conduct a group training with encouraging trainee participation, controlling group dynamics.

On-Job Training Program

The 2nd On-Job Training Program (OJT) was conducted on 26 – 28 May and more OJT-Trainers will be able to deliver productive on job training. After the training, they will be assessed by conducting a real on job training in their respective departments. By achieving the OJT standard, they will be deserved a Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group On Job Trainer certificate.

On April 26 and April 27, the Team from the Mandarin Oriental, Macau and the MOHG Team came together for a 2-days meeting.

The tour with the rickshaws around the city to our destination at Nam Wan Lake where we took this great group picture in front of our stylish new hotel was great fun!

At night, we enjoyed a BBQ Dinner at indoor venue at the Westin Resort, Macau.

Now we are all back at work and….

On-Job Training Techniques Programme

From 21 – 23 April 2010 we conducted our first On-Job Training Techniques Programme for some of our new colleagues. This excellent programme develops our colleagues’ skills as an on-job trainer and after they have learnt the theorie behind they had to do a lot of practice, practice, practice...and even more practice! Finally, all 7 colleagues passed successfully the 3-days training but for their final certificate they still have to go one step further: To conduct a real training session in presence of our Learning & Development Manager Pammy! And then they are ready to give professional trainings to all our new colleagues who come on board very, very soon... Congratulations to all of our OJT-Trainers!
